The upper of the shoe is made from Ultrasuede® , a highly innovative material developed by Japanese manufacturer TORAY. Produced with ultra-fine fibers made from recycled polyester, derived from recycled plastic bottles. One of the highest-quality leather alternatives, it offers a soft feel, breathability, and superior durability. Our barefoot shoes and sustainability go hand in hand!

ZAVID has all the characteristics of a barefoot shoe : it is totally flexible, lightweight, has a very thin sole with zero heel lift and plenty of room for the toes.

The shoe is designed and produced in the EU under fair working conditions and using sustainable materials.
  • Outer material: TORAY Ultrasuede®
  • Inner material: lining (50% cotton, 50% polyester)
  • Insole: removable, 4 mm thick.

Bohempia is a young, innovative, and rapidly growing company founded in 2015 by Tomas Rohal. It produces shoes, clothing, and accessories made from hemp. Its main goal is to promote environmental and social sustainability in fashion. Its unique products are manufactured locally in small workshops across the European Union. The process begins with raw hemp fiber, which is spun, woven, and dyed for production. Design and prototype production are then carried out in the Prague studio.
