PETA-certified vegan barefoot canvas shoes with a 100% hemp canvas upper, 4mm thick natural rubber sole and 4mm thick removable insole, which promote good posture and absorb shocks with every step.

Hemp canvas is a natural and ecological fabric. It is antibacterial, naturally wicks away moisture and is odor resistant. Being the most resistant natural fabric, it guarantees durability and longevity. Hemp saves water, as its cultivation and processing requires only 1/20 of the amount of water needed by conventional cotton.

We recommend waterproofing your shoes before wearing them for the first time.

The waterproofing is absorbed into the shoe, making its surface resistant to the external environment, preserving the color and extending the life of the shoe. Waterproofing not only prevents moisture, but also the penetration of dirt.

To ensure water resistance, we strongly recommend that you properly and regularly impregnate the shoes with common impregnating products. Before impregnating, remove dirt and dust from the shoes and allow them to dry completely.

We recommend cleaning your shoes with a soft brush or a damp cloth. Allow the shoes to dry sufficiently before putting them on. Do not place the shoes near direct heat sources. Do not wash them in the washing machine. Colours may fade over time.

Bohempia is a young, innovative and fast-growing company founded in 2015 by Tomas Rohal. They produce shoes, clothing and accessories made from hemp. Their main goal is to promote environmental and social sustainability in fashion. Their unique products are manufactured locally in small workshops in the European Union. The process starts with raw hemp fibre which they spin, weave, knit and dye for production, then design and prototype in the Prague studio.
